With over 20 years’ experience delivering solutions in the geospatial industry, Johan’s vision is to enable the smarter movement of people by providing real-time transit data and visualisation software for journey planning. Before Ito World, he was a company director at Esri, the world’s leading provider of geospatial software.

Hal Bertram

Hal Bertram

CTO and Co-founder

Hal leads the development of Ito’s technology and growing team of innovative engineers and visualisation designers. Hal set up the computer graphics department at leading film effects company Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, where he pioneered real-time animation technologies used. Hal went on to co-found Ito to apply these techniques to real world problems.

Bringing a wealth of experience from data-driven digital markets, Dave’s fresh approach is leading Ito’s success. Working with major blue chip brands, he has recognised the huge potential for public and private organisations to transform and improve efficiency of our transport networks.

James has over 15 years’ commercial experience defining, developing and delivering innovative market leading software within the transport and smart city industries. He is using this expertise and to shape and deliver Ito’s visualisation products. Ensuring they meet users’ needs and transform how movement data is viewed.

Commercial Director

Mike brings a wealth of expertise in strategy, business planning and commercial operations to Ito World. Mike holds a BA from Bath University and an MBA from Vlerick Business School and has held director positions at many international blue chip companies within telecoms, media and finance.

Shane Reynolds

Operations Director

Shane is one of the UK’s foremost technical experts in the world of transport data. Shane manages the full life cycle of Ito’s data products and ensures their deployment to clients’ satisfaction. He brings extensive experience of leading the technical development of real-time intelligent transport systems software, in use throughout Europe.

Martin Pitcher

Finance Director

Since 2014 Martin has been providing finance director services as a consultant to Ito World. Martin qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992, spending 15 years with PwC in their Audit and Transaction Services departments in London and New York.

Co-founder and director, Peter is a savvy computer scientist and entrepreneur. His interest in developing innovative technology solutions to the transport industry has driven Ito’s success. Peter’s vision is to have a world of real-time decision intelligence; one where data is integrated seamlessly into consumers’ decisions about transport choice and one where data and the insight from data, underpins transport planning and decision making.

Christopher Roper

A founder of Landmark Information Group and formerly Trucost’s executive chairman, Christopher remains a non-executive director of Landmark, which was acquired by the Daily Mail and General Trust. Christopher is an independent investor with a portfolio of investments in a series of start-up and early stage companies. A Cambridge graduate, his early career was spent as a Reuters correspondent in Africa and Latin America.
