A product allowing OpenStreetMap
contributors and users to monitor changes to content within defined geographical areas and to analyse
different aspects of the data. This product allows users to:
— View contributions by different users
— Monitor recent user sessions (RSS feeds available)
— View the geographical spread of particular tags (e.g. highway, railway, waterway)
— View changes to the data over time
— Produce lists of street names, schools etc.
The product is initially populated with data for the UK only and the area that can be monitored is limited to about 400 sq miles.
The database is updated weekly, normally on Thursday. We will be deploying a worldwide version with more frequent updates soon.
