Who has access to my information?

  • Service Providers – these are third parties that help us provide our Services, including security and fraud prevention providers, hosting and other technology and communications providers, analytics providers (Ito World uses Google Analytics), and staff augmentation and contract personnel.

Personal Data may be transferred to a third party if we undergo a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or other transaction in which that third party assumes control of our business (in whole or in part).

How long does Ito World keep my information for?

We retain Personal Data about you for as long as you have an open account with us or as otherwise necessary to provide you with our Services. In some cases we retain Personal Data for longer, if doing so is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or collect fees owed, or is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law, rule or regulation. We may further retain information in an anonymous or aggregated form where that information would not identify you personally.

How do I access and update my information?

You have a number of rights in relation to your Personal Data under data protection law. In relation to certain rights, we may ask you for information to confirm your identity and, where applicable, to help us to search for your personal information. The accuracy of your information is important to us and we are working on ways to make it easier for you to review and correct the information that we hold about you.

You may also ask us to restrict processing your personal information where you believe it is unlawful for us to do so, you have objected to its use and our investigation is pending or you require us to keep it in connection with legal proceedings.  In these situations we may only process your personal information whilst its processing is restricted if we have your consent or are legally permitted to do so, for example for storage purposes, to protect the rights of another individual or company or in connection with legal proceedings.

Transferring your personal information in a structured data file (“data portability”)

Where we rely on your consent as the legal basis for processing your personal information or need to process it in connection with your contract,  you may ask us to provide you with a copy of that information in a structured data file. We will provide this to you electronically in a structured, commonly used and machine readable form, such as a CSV file.

You can ask us to send your personal information directly to another service provider, and we will do so if this is technically possible. We may not provide you with a copy of your personal information if this concerns other individuals or we have another lawful reason to withhold that information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We’re constantly trying to improve our Services, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time.  We will alert you to any such changes by placing a notice on the Ito World website, by sending you an email. Any changes will take effect 7 days after the date of our email or the date on which we post the modified terms on our website, whichever is earlier. We recommend you regularly check for changes and review this policy whenever you visit our website.  If you use our Services after any changes to the Privacy Policy have been posted, that means you agree to all of the changes. Use of information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected.
